  2.     Sponsored Distribution Plan

  4. Multiple Choice is being distributed directly by mail, and also by the
  5. Sponsored Distribution Plan. Under this plan, owners of registered
  6. copies of MC may "sponsor" another person's registration of MC. The
  7. sponsor, in return for distributing MC, receives a "rebate" from
  8. Awesome when the new copy is registered. Subsequent sponsorships made
  9. by the new owner are also reflected in rebates to the original sponsor.
  10. The following rebate schedule is used:
  11.     1st level sponsor    $12
  12.     2nd level sponsor    $8
  13.     3rd level sponsor    $2
  14.  
  15. If you sponsor 4 people who each sponsor 4 people who each
  16. sponsor 4 people, this would be your resultant rebate:
  17.  
  18.     4 copies sponsored @ $12    =     $  48
  19.     16 2nd level       @ $8        =       $ 128
  20.     64 3rd level       @ $2        =    $ 128
  21.     ---------------------------------------------
  22.     Total                    $ 304
  23.     ( $ 304 for sponsoring 4 people to use MC ! )

  25. Rules for sponsorship:

  27. The registration cost or Multiple Choice is $64.
  28. The new purchaser must send check or money order to Awesome, or use Visa or
  29.     Mastercard on our Toll Free order line.
  30. The new purchaser must supply sponsor's name and registration #.
  31. A new registration # will be sent to the new purchaser directly from Awesome.
  32. Rebates will be distributed quarterly to all sponsors.

  34. To aid this plan, MC contains a special command to set the registration
  35. number which is displayed in the sign-on header and in the status line.
  36. A new purchaser should set his registration number as soon as he
  37. receives it so that anyone he sponsors can easily find it.

  40.     mc r<six digit reg. code>
  41. For example:
  42.     mc r123456  (no spaces after the "r")
  43.  
  44. As in the configuration commands, a copy of MC.COM must be on the default
  45. directory and drive, and it cannot be write-protected.
